About

Rachel and Jim Lott are the new owners of The Wine Alley. They got married in Western Washington wine tasting country at the old brick Woodinville Hollywood School House, incorporating their love of wine into their special day. The Wine Alley is a dream come true for them to share their passion of wine with the community, friends, and family.

Rachel

The Wine Alley is owned and managed by Rachel, a Fairwood community member for more than 10 years. Rachel's passion for wine was cultivated over many weekend trips to Napa, Sonoma, Alexander Valley and other wine regions near her home in the San Francisco Bay Area. After moving to the Seattle suburbs, a trip to Willamette Valley for her 5 year wedding anniversary confirmed her favorite red wine was, in fact, Pinot Noir. Owning a business while building a community and a legacy for her daughters is the driving force behind The Wine Alley.

Jim

The Wine Alley is owned and run by Jim Lott, a Fairwood community member for more than 10 years. For the past 20 years Jim has dreamt of owning a business, specifically a wine and beer focused business, and The Wine Alley is the culmination of hard work, dedication, and realization of that dream. While not a sommelier, Jim has a WSET Level II certification allowing for good conversations around wine and the ability to guide you towards a fantastic bottle if you need the help. He is also a big fan of beer and looks forward to curating a selection that you can't find everywhere.
